1st,go to settings~applications~manage applications~all~messaging~clear data~then reboot phone to xrecovery~wipe dalvik cache,then fix permission~if still the same flash this in xrecovery

Battery Drain (even after callibration ) / Volume buttons wake up!

tHello,

I love the Rom, I used v19 before and now I did a re-instalation with Feralabs kernel + v20.

However I noticed a significant battery drain.... I checked with CPU spy and I do get to Deep sleep.

However the battery life is not as good as in v19 + Doom kernel.

Any clue why this could be happening or what I have to tweak?

I have installed:

v19 + Ferakernel
Undervolt
Non-frills CPU control to: ondemand / deadline (I also tried smatassv2 / deadline)
I have tried multipe battery callibration max up... namelly:

1. Instructions in the first post of this thread.

Also I noticed that if I go to sleep and accidentally I push the volume buttons the X10 will weak up!! which is a noner as it will waste battery while in my pocket as I have noticed that is constantly activating my screen.

Any help in how to deactivate the weak up screen (aka lock streen) when pushing Volume up/down from sleep state?

you can just flash the ferakernel
its fine
dont forget to wipe cache and dalvik
and fix permission after first boot

There is an option during installation (for UB version) but for home button wake up,
May be u need to reflash the whole rom.
But probably try to do factory reset first, wipe cache and dalvik
and fix permissions, and try to check the result for day or two, if those issues still there, then try to reflash the whole rom again.
I'm never tried for LB version, and i dont
know if it with or without aroma installer (without an options).

PS: I am on UB version and battery performance is very good !!!

I finnaly recovered my phone by flashing stock rom from another mchine with windows 7 and then root, install busy box, installed xrecovery this time and reboot again and flashed feralab from xrec successfully, thank you guys.

The boost CPU patch spends much more battery? or just a little more battery?
