The first link appears to be dead 404 Error.

Was this the ICS stock animation or were you still getting around to that?

I am trying to recognize which is the original EOS bootanimation.zip that is part of the EOS jellybean rev.132 that is on my Xoom. I downloaded a custom bootanimation and now I can't tell the original file from the one I downloaded. The downloaded one is 15.3MB in size. I thought that if I knew the size of the original bootanimation.zip file, I could straighten things out.

Also, when I try to relabel the file, in Root Explorer, it won't allow me. It says it is a system file and can't be relabeled. How do I back up the original?

I have solved the problem of identifying the two different boot animation files in my Xoom. Now I can't seem to understand how to get the new one installed, and running. I have installed it in the system/media folder and re-named the original boot animation zip file, "oldbootanimation.bak" The permissions on the new bootanimation.zip, for user, are "read" "write" and "execute". When the Xoom boots, the animation is the single word, "android" with animated highlights going through it, not the animation shown on the youtube posting.

I know that the size of a file will change when it moves to the phone from the SD storage, but this file has dropped drastically. It went from 15.39MB on the SD card, to 528.00K when I copied it into the system/media folder. Does that seem right?

Any help offered will be much appreciated.
Thanks
EDIT: Even though I have root, the normal way of installing a boot animation by placing the file in the "system/media" folder did not work. Putting the new boot animation file in "data/local" folder, (as if it were not rooted), succeeded.
