EDIT: I was listening to a radio show at the same time (mp3 file, not from the net), so it might have a lot of info about that too in there...
What version are you using because it looks like its using LPAPlayer for audio and I disabled that a while ago. In your build prop there should be a line that says:
lpa.decode=false.

It's not loading wifi because it's run out of memory but I can't figure out why it hasn't killed one of the running apps.

Yes, i enabled that because it has higher volume for me... could it be the problem? Also I'm on latest 4.0.3 version... I know I should upgrade, but 4.0.4 lags a lot for me :(

fjsferreira, I had 1.11a and the same Wi-Fi problem happened to me and I have not enabled LPAPlayer. That should not be the problem..

Yes, in 2.11 I have that wifi problem too, but I always enable lpa in build.prop because of the volume, even though I know it is prone to crash more...

Dzo, in 4.0.4, is it possible to re-enable drop down shadows in icon labels in launchers? Not having them in 4.0.4 drives me nuts! Damn OCD!

PLEASE do not complain about bugs from previous versions.

Please report the bugs ONLY when you're using the latest version, because probably those early bugs were corrected in a later version!!

Otherwise, the developer is spending his time for nothing and it'll cause misunderstandings.

If you want to use previous versions because of this or that, support the consequences and do not complain about them.

Best regards

I agree with that, absolutely, and I don't mean this as an excuse, but these wifi problems seem to be all in the kernel and wifi modules, and those, I use latest versions... :S

Im sure it won't be as simple as this, but have you tried to edit minfree values so it kills off unimportant apps earlier and leaves more space free?
