thoughts re AOKP so far:

1. works in bootmanager (i.e. wifi, root are fine)

2. love ROM control - manages toggles, led, lockscreen; a lot of it is working, still a few things not fully functional.

3. both it and CM9 still have problems with playback of on-phone video being stuttery (youtube works fine). this is not kernel related, as tiamat kernel does not resolve this.

4. Talk works out-the-box

5. fresh install bootmanager for me ICS buttons did not show, looks like you can toggle them, I don't need them so I haven't bothered.

will post back if I find anything else.

I heard it was built from source code not w/e Joelz was using before, so he might not have it completely optimized yet, its only a beta. And I don't think I've used the updated one, I last used it on Thursday. But I'm happy with CM9 atm

Where are you finding aokp? I checked and couldn't find a build for evo3d.
Have it on my touchpad, would love it on both.

Is the kernel that comes with this ROM any different than the one that is a part of the newest AOKP ROM put up a day ago? The latter feels a lot smoother.

We are working on this issue. Certain phones are not compatible with this rom. Please be patient while we are working on the fix.
