I tried 2.6.1 version 1 and it didn't work. Will try version 2, thank you.

Been away for a bit. Flashed fresh and everything‘s smooth.

Can't seem to get a2sd working though. Originally, I flashed dta2sd like I'd done previously but gets stuck on white Evo boot screen and stays there. Wiped and Reflashed rom and tried the baked in a2sd but it doesn't seem to like my ext3 partition. Any ideas? Does swap work?

Oh yeah, is it necessary to flash the Mason kernel listed in the OP?

As always, thanks everyone for keeping me from having to give Sprint another giant chunk of change. At least for a while.

Any way to get the black folder background back instead of the white?

I flashed mine with dta2sd and it worked just fine. If you're getting stuck at the splash screen you've got a bad zip somewhere.
Edit: DOES NOT WORK. I get the same ext3 error. My mistake.

Try this.. after installing in recovery the dtapps2sd.zip, wipe cache and dalvik then reinstall rom. Hopefully you will get it to boot up fine, if you do then just open terminal emulator then su and install it. I had to do something like that, don't recall if those were the exact steps I took but give it a try.

Is there a fix for the Navigation app? I'm going from Pittsburgh to Florida tomorrow and I need my GPS working!! I've tried GPSFix and GPS tools but it still won't follow as I go. It only pops in and out with my location.

Did boot after installing dta2sd followed by wipe cache/dalvik and reflash of 6.1-2, but still no go. I can mount the ext3 in a Linux box and see the folders [it even auto mounts as sd-ext].

a2sdgui won't run either with the ever frustrating error, like the script hasn't been installed.

Here's a screenshot showing the error and a scan (which it did). Looks like the ext partition isn't mounted at /sd-ext?

Has anyone had issues with the latest version of this rom and making and receiveing phonecalls? Second day on this rom and now all of sudden, when I try to call people or when they call me, I can hear them fine, but they cannot hear me at all. Any thoughts?

Edit: After a restart, people are able to hear me again. Odd.
