ASNET MIUI V4 Installation Instructions

Upgrading from Samsung stock ROM
• Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery or Using ODIN flash CF-Root or any Semaphore Kernel.
• Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
• Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
• WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
• Install the ROM from internal sdcard
• It will restart and continue looping – remove battery and:
1. go back to recovery
2. Install the ROM from internal sdcard
• Install Desired kernel (optional- I suggest stick to stock kernel)
• Done/reboot

Upgrading from CM7, MIUI 2.3, any Custom ROM
• Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
• Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
• WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
• Install the ROM from internal sdcard
• It will restart and continue looping – remove battery and:
1. go back to recovery
2. Install the ROM from internal sdcard
• Install Desired kernel (optional- I suggest stick to stock kernel)
• Done/reboot

Coming from ICS build or any MIUI v4 ROM
• Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
• Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
• WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
• Install the ROM from internal sdcard
• WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
• If RIL doesn't work, go back to Samsung Stock ROM.

Upgrading from precious version of ASNET MIUI V4
• Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
• Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
• Install the ROM from internal sdcard
• Done/reboot

I have a request pm if ı make this rom available for cappy. Then ı talk and let roms dev permission for porting. So ı dont take credits for mıuı base rom..Its ASNET teams work... Im only used their rom as base and edited on it...

BUGS
-This rom has same ext sd bug like my over 3.1 versions...
Gallery cant see ext sd pics(use quickpic)
MIUI Musıc cant play ext sd mp3(use ttpod)
MIUI File Manager cant see ext sd files(use root browser)
Ext sd cant mountable to pc...
-Not shows signal sitrength on settings-abaut phone-status
-Disable power button on lockscreen option not works

Turk, you a two timer, got Doc's ROM, and now this one. You the man, I will try this on my other phone.

Just installed it, getting some error pop ups:
"UNFORTUNATELY, THE PROCESS ANDROID.PROCESS.MEDIA HAS STOPPED"

Edit: Went back to recovery, did a format and wipe, all that good stuff, re flashed the ROM, and NOW everything looks in order. Not getting the errors yet.

The only things I have seen go wrong so far:
1. When I tried to log in to my e-mails -both G-mail and hotmail did not sync
- After I turned off WiFi fix, it did sync.

2. When I try to switch to video mode in camera it FCs.

Turk any recommendation on kernel if not on stock

If volume rocker wake gets incorporated into this ROM like you're doing on Master ICS v4, I'll be switching to this in a heart beat.

But in general, Captivate development is getting so exciting!

Haha I love how the instructions for coming from an asnet rom say precious instead of previous. Don't know if its a typo or not but I think you should keep it like that.
