======================FOR MEMBERS IN USA========================
FIRST THING FIRST Applies to both TMO & ATT
1. Are you in US on TMO / ATT ?

2. Call 611 talk to Customer Care and LIE :
LIE : you are travelling abroad you need unlock code.
> Carriers MUST give you unlock code as per agreement.
> Lie makes process simple and straight.
> You can get UNLOCK CODE every 90 days on each line on your account.

3. You will Require :
> FIRST & LAST name of the account holder
> Last 4 digits of SSN
> email they can send you the UNLOCK CODE to.
> Sometimes Pen & Paper if they have code in their database(mostly they dont)

4. Once you receive your Unlock Code :
> Email Usually has information on how to unlock the phone. OTHERWISE
> Powe off your phone.
> pop in Diff carrier SIM.(SIMPLE mobile sim wont be detected as foreign SIM)
> Use ATT or TMO sim to make it simple.
> As soon as the phone powers up, it will ask for the Carrier Unlock Code.
> PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE PUNCHING IN THE UNLOCK CODE, AND MAKE SURE ITS CORRECT TWICE, BEFORE YOU HIT OK BUTTON.
> Depend on make of the phone you have 3 to maybe 10 trial to punch correct code.
> Once the phone is UNLOCKED, you will never need the Code again.

1. Post in THREAD only,
> Your Complete Make and Model of the Phone.
> Little bit about how and where did you bought it form (dosent really require this part, but sometimes helpful, Especially in the case of DELL phones & Streak 7)

2. When replied PM your IMEI.

3. Patiently wait for the reply. As sometimes it only takes 24 hrs. Sometimes they require about 7 days.

4. Once you get PM back with CODE, Follow Step 4 in the above " US MEMBERS " section.

I used ebay, and with 0.99$ I unlocked my Inspire. Just search for unlock code *******(phone model) and then click on show prices from low to high. Use the ones with good feedback
