Usb charging

Is it possible now that we have root or no chance? I remember it came to psp after it was rooted. Can someone knowledgeable investigate please. Many thanks in advance

No unfortunately that's something that's set up in the hardware.

That is right ... first of all we need more than 5Volt to charge the battery and second the battery charging need more than 500mA ... but both are the maximum of USB specification. Therefore is not possible to enable charging via USB port.

And how is this development?
