im getting an error? it says

* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
error: more than one device and emulator

it does it when i try to get the token id,submit it,and unlock bootloader.

I finally got around to going through the folders in the toolkit and I found a fastboot file as well as a fastboot.exe but no folder called fastboot. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with them. When I double click the fastboot file, weird characters show up. When I double click the .exe file, a command promp flashes up and then disappears so fast I can't even read what it says. What am I doing wrong? I see no folder called fastboot.

That would be because fastboot.exe is not made for double-clicking. It is made for command prompt and has to be used with commands

e.g.
cd C:\path\to\fastboot.exe\
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

I installed a custom Rom and everything but its still saying I don't have root access
