Question [Q] How i preconfigure Apps in Custom Rom?

Hello,

how is it possible to configure the Rom so that certain apps are already on the home screen or apps are pre-configured?

I've googled the finger wound already, but unfortunately could not find a solution.

I am grateful for every answer

greetings

You have posted how i preconfigure apps
when in reality you are asking how to preconfigure apps .

What you mean by preconfigure i am not sure of .

Not aware that you can preconfigure an app preconfigure means setting up all the apps settings .

OR are you asking how can you put apps in a custom rom to pre install ???

I want to build a custom Rom.

But I do not know how it's possible to set apps so that they appear after flashing on the home screen.
My home screen is blank after the flash and I must add my widgets by hand.

In many Custom Rom's, are certain apps or widgets on the home screen after flashing.

I hope I have now expressed understandable.

Thanks and greetings

Look in the CSC files for touchwiz setup examples. Don't know for other launchers.

Apps are added to SYSTEM / APPS thats one of the basics of rom building .

Or added to DATA folder with a script change to install .

I'm interested in this as well. AFAIK, the only way to do this is through a nandroid backup, because APKs store their settings in a database, am I correct? I think it's in data/data

However, this means you can't set up a flashable zip that on go on various phones of the same model.

I hope I'm wrong! Can anyone steer us in the right direction?

Thanks!
