Can anyone confirm tethering working?

Is there any tool to migrate the existing data to the new ROM? Failing that, is there any way to backup the existing ROM so that it can be restored later?

I have successfully installed this ROM

However, I cannot get the U2M8107.xap to install. I am getting the 0x81030120 error which seems to mean my device is not interop unlocked. How can I get around this? I do have the Chevron unlock. It's not that important to me, I'm just curious why it wouldn't work. The important things to me are... wifi tethering, that's it - and the ROM has it, and it works ^^

Edit: Can't update PRL on this one for some reason. I'm going to try re-flashing.

Edit2: This ROM appears to have bugs regarding the cellular data settings. You cannot use the "change network" or "change prl" buttons. The first one yields a generic error, and indeed upon first flashing the ROM and booting it up you see the error 0x80070002 and also every time you reboot it. The Internet/calling/texting works fine, so this appears to be more of an annoying cosmetic error. However, "change prl" is grayed out. Ideally this will be fixed, because without the ability to update PRL you lose the ability to have the most optimal cell coverage. There is also an "Add APN" button that does not exist in the generic 8107 I had on my device earlier. I think that this is not useful to CDMA devices and could be removed, but I might be wrong...

Personally, I love that my stock Windows Phone "just works" and have no inclination for getting back into ROM customizations and doing the flash dance every few days like I did back in the day with my HTC Touch Pro. Unfortunately, Sprint and HTC don't seem to care about supporting the Arrive, which means no tethering and no "fix" for the 160-character SMS limit. So I have to resort to flashing a custom ROM to take care of the only two things that I do not like about my phone.

160 character problem is still in this ROM. I'm not sure if/when/how that's going to be fixed.

Another thing I noticed is that the Sonic 4 Episode 1 game I purchased instantly closes when I try to open it. My other games work fine, and this game worked fine in the "vanilla" 8107, so I'm not sure if it will be possible to fix it since I don't know what is causing it. I've tried re-installing it a couple times, but honestly this isn't that big of a deal. Just thought I'd share

Reboot and keep trying it. I have this problem with various XBLive games at random times. It comes and goes but usually after enough attempts, it will eventually work lol. (99% of the time for me)

I have yet to test your rom Ansar as Rapidshare hates me and downling the rom is nearly impossible since it keeps resetting on me no matter where I download it from (physically).

I got the DFT Freedom Rom and it has pretty much the same setup asside from other device files, but it works good. Ill give your's a shot once I get used to the Backup/Restore process now lol.

Does the DFT Freedom rom work on the Arrive now. As I too am having a lot of trouble downloading Ansar's rom from Rapidshare.

If it does could you link me to a download of the version you have running.
