Here is my flash kit for CWM.

Disclaimer :

None of these .zip are mine !

I am not responsible if your GNote is broken !

All packages are currently installed on my Gnote without problems !




v216 content :

ROM - Cassies_XtraLiteRom_V8.zip (best than Volvic Edition)*
KERNEL 1 - AbyssNotekernel39CustomLogo.zip
KERNEL 2 - franco.Kernel-2.zip (+ stable -smooth)
KERNEL 3 - franco.Kernel-4.zip (- stable +smooth)
JKAY - JKay_Deluxe_v13_5_1_Xxla6_GreenColoredCircle_deode xed.zip
JKAY ADDON - JKay_Deluxe_v13_5_1_XXLA6_OverscrollGlow_Addon_deo dexed.zip
JKAY ADDON - JKay_Deluxe_Icon_Pack1.zip
OPTIONAL - ICS_Keyboard.zip (from "old" version of CheckROM, very nice)
TB - ThunderBolt-CWM_v2.5.1.zip (v2.3.x in Cassie's ROM)

*From Cassie's Lite topic :

INSTALL :

Make sure your phone is fully charged (always good practise)
Copy the downloaded rom file to your phone
Reboot into CWM
INSTALL the copied file WITHOUT doing a factory reset
Reboot phone
Skip setup if presented get to the homescreen
REBOOT back to CWM
Start a FACTORY RESET (DO NOT INSTALL ROM YET)
Reboot phone and again skip setup and get to homescreen (vibration will now be back working so test it)
Once confirmed reboot to CWM for the last time
INSTALL rom again (DO NOT DO A FACTORY RESET)



Chinese Language support V2/3 :

1) Copy following files from Chinese Stock Rom to sdcard
- /system/app/diopenchineseIME.apk
- /system/lib/libdhwrcn.so
- /system/lib/libdwpcn.so
- /system/lib/libhangulcore.so
- /system/lib/libkeyboardcn.so

2) use any root explorer to copy back the following file to /system/lib/
- /system/lib/libdhwrcn.so
- /system/lib/libdwpcn.so
- /system/lib/libhangulcore.so
- /system/lib/libkeyboardcn.so

3) reboot, then install diopenchineseIME.apk

the kernel is the AbyssKernel 3.9

Interesting.

V8 volvic was dropped anyway. Advised peeps to go back to franco v2 as v4 has batt issues

Btw im using 2.4.1 tb and not all of them esp with franco kernel.

Does the old chinese support package work on v8 they were based on kl7

I took this after 5 averages with franco at stock



Then again it is quadrant lol,

about as reliable as my timekeeping

I have make only a test, and with SMS restore ^^'




I test many ROM and Kernels every day, for moment, this package had an excellent ratio battery life/performance ^^
