Do I need to do anything special if on 2.1 eclair

I have my phone rooted, cwm recovery, 3 button conf working and backup done. Is there anything required if im on 2.1 eclair before flashing this rom ? I read about gb bootloaders and im confused on that. I have flashed 3 tablets and a couple phones in the past but this captivate has had me with all the dos and donts. Thanks

That would be your modem. Change it to something different. They are area dependent, so no one can really suggest one, just try them all out. Make sure it is a CM/MIUI modem. See the sticky thread at the top of the forum.

Alright, so try it out. If it doesn't work, try some other. In Florida KC1 works best for me.

Minor change requests

-Torch toggle is un-needed, Can be removed.
-Please allow us to dismiss the low storage notifier, I don't need it in my status bar 24/7
-Please replace the youtube app with the stock youtube app, Stock was updated recently and looks very nice/UI is better.
-If possible, let us re-color the icons the same way we can re-color the clock/battery bar.

Just wondering. I'm using the default kernel that came with the rom, and needed to know if there was a fix for the video playback issue. I have changed kernels and found that it fixed the problem but came across many new ones. Is there any other solution to this problem?

I used this ROM to fix the no sound/no mic issue when calling after an unlock.

Works great now.
