Well, I actually rolled back to 8.3 after a few hours.
8.5 felt a tad more sluggish. For me there was a tiny, yet irritating, delay between tuch and action.
A huge thanks to Rapier for the trouble of porting and uploading though! Really appreciated!
Maybe I should give MIUI 4 a try.
It is Friday after all
@vampire - You're on the new official miui aren't you?
What's your opinion about it? Thumbs upp/down?
PS. Congrats on getting your Internet back!
Well guess what I had d same and back on 8.3...felt i will look an idiot if i make that statement...but nice to know someone else feels d same...maybe will checkout 8.4 and see if thats good enough....cos 8.5 has no serious fix

As there is no JB rom as functional as this ICS one yet...
Actually I find Superkid's Andromadus more stable and functional than this rom (which I used for a while). No fcs at all, small graphic issues and a little less sensitive in touch. No camcorder which I don't use anyway. That's all. Don't know how do games act - I'm too old for that... The rest is flying. I use it as a daily driver in business for few days and very happy with it. And the main advantage of that rom is absolutely incredible battery live incomparable to any other. It's worthy a shot!
I agree though IceCold is the best ICS rom for DS so far.

I agree with you regarding Andromadus. Unfortunately camcorder not working, is a stopper for me. That means Skype video calls are not possible too...
It's all a matter of taste and for what you're using the phone. If some people do not use their phone for things that are broken in JB ROMs, then a JB ROM could be used daily...if not, they'll revert to an ICS ROM. And IceColdSandwich is one of the best for this purpose (matter of taste as well, some may say a sense ROM is better)
Don't force it...take a bigger hammer!
HTC One S - LiquidSmooth 2.4.0 (by $droyd$) / TwiSTeD IV Gen2 kernel
HTC Desire S - IceColdSandwich
HTC Legend - CyanogenMod V7.1.0 (sold)
Im back to icecoldsandwich from codename (at this momen dont work bluetooth, bad data connection, missing camera)
Icecoldsandwich is my first and last ICS rom, is absolutly smooth and stable.
