[Q] Change phone number on rooted evo 4g

I have an Evo 4g rooted with revolutionary. If I get a new phone, can I have the rooted phone transferred to my son's phone number? Also, can I unroot the Evo? Thank you for helping me.

You can transfer devices/numbers. Call Sprint and esn swap the 2 phones.

im having the same problem so far no answer i think trying to find my forum...when u call to activate the other phone they want u to enter ##454789# i think and ur old phone might freeze mine did! if u find a fix let me know

Yes u can swap it and yes u.can unroot it if u need to but no need to swap lines just use a stock rooted rom or tommytomatoes evo classic rom it has the downgraded and working epst.apk to use dialer codes to access the admin partition to change the info on the phone u can find it in the dev subforum or on classictomatoe.net
