Looks really tempting. Let us know how batt life is holding up after a cycle or two.

@DAGr8:

I don't know if it works on the Rogers version yet (it should)

I would recommend flashing the modified recovery, then booting to recovery, connecting via adb, and dumping the stock rogers kernel via the instructions in the post. I can use that to determine if the kernel will work well or not (and that'll give us a stock rogers kernel to revert to later)

Re: battery life: Seems pretty good at 1.83ghz, full screen brightness + playing music + surfing the net for 40 minutes dropped me to 86%, quite a bit better than skyrocket would have done under the same circumstances with a lower overclock!

Awesome work Da_G. Is it possible to build in cifs support into this kernel for mapping over samba share to access NAS? Thanks!

CIFS support is in stock kernel, and so in this one as well

Although FUSE support was not, I did just compile a kernel with that in...

yea , unless someone beats me to it .

moving to the note /lte network means I have to leave fido (current provider) and go to rogers , I just gotta double check what months have been paid so I dotn double pay anything . Chances are I upgrade within next 24 hours = gf going to be mad at me for spending all that time on the computer again .. lol

side note wanst there a way to prevent that kernel counter from doing its job on other devices ?

Outstanding sleep on this kernel! Didn't get it with stock or your other rooted kernel.
