The controls function (previous/next track & pause) BUTTTTT the current playing "track label/info" doesn't correspond correctly - it always shows the current track as the very first track you played from & doesn't update when the track changes.

your lucky, here its shows only a black screen, no controls here with GMusic. It happens on the Sensation too, no solution yet.

i will use Poweramp just till a real free contender appears... tho poweramp ICS locker doesnt work either here... im using its own one with slide locker enabled, so i dont unlock by accident.

I hadn't restored my sms history? I would do a full wipe and full format just in case before each rom install. At first it wasn't working with gosms pro nor handcent but, after I reinstalled them it magically worked?
My next step was to delete all my sms. On a sidenote: when gosms and handcent weren't working I wasn't able to receive mms? I confirmed with my gf and only sending mms was working.

this new release even made me switch to this back as a daily driver from the pyroice Sense one. it's really smooth and fast. On middle UV i have no more black screens, and Bluetooth is just perfect.

Finally got a chance to send that donation. Thanks for keeping the dev alive for this device and bringing ICS to it. It's devs like you that share their work that make this OS the best in the business IMHO.

I think this ROM might be your new crown jewel. Working great for me.

Ok so here is my review I am using this ROM with the extreme UV kernel. First off it looks great and is very visually appealing and functional. Last night I took the phone on the town to give it a real test run here is my findings.

GPS is extremely unreliable.. Rerouting rerouting. if you copy and paste a address into the search field it gives you 10 options of locations you dont even want not sure why.

Battery Full charge to 60% in no time not sure why it fluxes like that i have re calibrated it several times. Hopefully this gets fixed soon or i will have to return to Rubix 5.3

SMS im using Handcent and im getting multiple notifications and will not properly set Handcent as default messaging application

WIFI Calling: Ive applied patch in post 3 and patch from prior ROM fix with no luck on becoming functional ( reading sim )

These are just a few things i thought migt be helpful for the betterment of the ROM aka my two cents thanks for reading.

- GPS seems to be a problem yes, couldnt yet find a way to make it work perfectly. For some its working great, for me its not so good. If I clear AGPS data it works for a while better tho.
- Battery life, its mostly always a trouble on user side. Here its lasting well and steady.
- Maybe it's a handcent problem with AOSP ICS notification system? In pyroice prev version it was mostly HTC's settings provider, now they were replaced
- Have you tried the other Wifi calling patch, linked in 3rd post? its not perfect either,but told to work better

Is it not recommended to use titanium backup with this rom?

I backed up all apps/data/system data, wiped, then upgraded. Restored through titanium and rebooted and it bootlooped. Had to wipe and flash again.
