I guess the FC when you try to add a map to a S-memo should be on the list as well.

1. Did anyone make nandroid backup on fully rooted rocket?

2. Should I backup using cwm program or recovery?

(sorry for asking instead of checking but now I have lack of time for this test).

I'm afraid that I will lose root during backup.

A new bug i haven't seen around yet in thread - the lefthanded pen setting doesn't stick after a reboot

The setting does stay selected in the menu but the pointer is about 1cm off the pen tip when holding in left hand... Reselecting lefthanded in spen settings corrects the offset, it's just a nuisance

I get an error about high voltage when plugging into my Samsung car dock, probably kernal related.

And the voice commands don't work properly, you say command and it looks like its about to work but then goes back to the voice screen!

(for those who'd like to catch up on the backstory here, I'm on unrooted ICS 1.4 and trying to get back to a GB rom so i can ultimately get to a rooted 1.5 ICS. Currently I am failing miserably and could use any help from anyone that might understand teh crux of my problem)

looks like abyss3.9 flashed successfully but rr v22 got the same error message...

1. get to recovery
2. flash abyss kernel 3.6 or up to 3.9
3. do not exit recovery ..from there place advance- reboot recovery
4. now on red pill recovery wipe data/factory reset/cache/dalvik
5. flash rr v22 reboot
6. you're back to GB

i followed these steps and still got the same error message:

CWM- Based Recovery v5.0.2.7
-- Installing /emmc/download/rocket-v22-la6-eybee1970.zip
finding update package...
opening update package...
E: can't open /emmc/download/rocket-v22-la6-eybee1970.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.

question...

after #4, do you flash rr22 straight from red pill recovery or do you do it after a reboot, or something else entirely?

currently im still screwed.

i could use some help here...as im currently stuck in limbo and only able to flash and use UNrooted 1.4 ICS, can't get to 1.5 and cant get back to GB.

thanks guys, big time...

agrh..

I'm afraid that I will lose root during backup.
I did a nandroid of ICS fully rooted in recovery and switched back to GB (after flashing AbyssNote 3.9 kernel with non-touch redpill recovery because recovery in CWM hung).
I could return to ICS, using AbyssNote 3.9 nandroid restore, and kept full root.

I have both nandroids saved and though I remain with GB for my daily use (sorry Chris!) I switch to ICS when I have time to experiment more on this ROM. I update the nandroids before each switch to remain up-to-date with my latest changes on each platform.
