Hey Nils!
Just wanted to say thanks. This ROM (v4.0) is so stable and smooth. I've been on it for over a week, and that almost NEVER happens.

If you feel like you need to ask for 'thanks' in the signature section of every post, you probably don't deserve it.

Thanks for the hard work, man. I've been dicking off with this Rezound for a bit now and it's never run right (to me).. and now it does.

What do you, guys, think of permanently removing the following apps using Titanium Backup:

ES File Explorer
FB Chat
Footprints
Friend Stream
Google+
Internet (using Dolphin instead)
Music (using PowerAmp instead)
News (including the widgets)
Polaris Software
Scan
Stocks (including the widgets)
Talk
Tasks
Voice Dialer (interferes with wired headset's music controls)

+whatever else bloatware I haven't mentioned? Can the removal of those apps affect the system stability? I've always been removing them when jumping from rom to a rom. If I freeze them they would still be visible in the app drawer, though. Just wanna know everyone's opinion on that.

Only ones I would caution on are Internet and Music but don't remember what the impact is.

However, if you are already doing it and all is fine then go for it.

I updated the latest leak version 4.1 in post 1

Release 4.1
Based on latest 3.14.605.5 Leak
Unhidden app folder items
Advanced Power Menu
Leedroid Tweaks v2 - Thanks Jan
HD Camera
Battery tweaks
Updated some Google Apps
build.prop updates

Should flash over v4.0 fine but as usual if you have strange things happen then a full wipe is in order

Full Wipe for v3.5?
Also, after installing v4.1, would restoring the Data portion from a nandroid backup work or would you recommend installing all the apps anew?

Yes; full wipe from 3 but try it first

App restore should be okay

Hmmm, Wi-fi toggle doesn't appear under Quicksettings even though I've unchecked it.
