Any one had any luck through kies or OTA with an XEU Note yet. I'm getting nothing, in the UK

Updated uk xeu through odin. . Speed difference is mega cant work out what else is different but speed is good

THAT was the mistake I made with the LA4 update...updating via KIES.
I've got too much time right now invested in having to wipe, go down, update, reinstall, tweak...
Unless someone figures out a way to do it without all that, I'll just live without it
a while longer. I'm sure the update to ICS will be a wipe rom, and even if it isn't,
when I go from one version rom to another, I feel it is better to just WIPE everything, update, then WIPE again...just to make sure all of the old OS is gone.

It's definitely faster. Don't seem to be too many obvious differences from LA4 besides the speed improvement.

i notice that when i uses 3x4 keypad and type letters that it jumps direct;y to the second letter example when you will write the c that it jumps directly to the next letter and i have then only letter b.

with this i have not that problem anymore. hope you understand a little

Is it possible to upgrade to this on unrooted kka xeu UK? Not really interested in root.

In other words do you have to be rooted to use pc odin? Or can my unrooted stock make the upgrade ok?

You don't need root to flash a stock ROM using odin.

* Is the Keyboard Lag gone for good, or is it still there ?
* Android OS battery Drain, Still present ?
* Black Shades in Video Playback ?
