The Mod have to match the romversion, you are doing right, I don`t know why it doesn`t work, some users have problems after installing my mod. Don`t use touch recovery, use CWM 5.0.2.X, don`t do a fullwipe, this will delete the rom, and my Mod ist still a "addon".
Wait for updated Mod and try again

The supernova pre RC2 is working good so far. The battery life is to early to make a statement about. But it seems to be better than the 2.6.xx kernel, so that is good.
