[Q] what is an SBF?

What is an SBF? Is it one or more of the following?

A. Image of the flash (on the Bravo, "/dev/mmcblk1")
B. Archive (like tar or zip)
C. Encrypted (like my wi-fi )
D. Signed (like an Xbox exe/xbe)

SBF is official system package. It's the bottom of mobile system. We can istall it with RSD Lite(a brush tool)~

I know SBF is an official package. I was wondering if anyone knows it's contents, i.e., can look at/extract/explain the contents. We should look into it, ya know, to make sure there are no nuclear secrets or pictures of naked congresswomen in there... LOL

One option I forgot to list:
E. Patch (like PPF or source diff)

you can use program called sbf depacker to view contents of it. see:

anyways, i'm not sure if you can edit the files, but you can certainly view them.
