Deodexed. No ICS rom is Odex normally unless the dev Odexs it.

The reason I ask is I'm trying to find a "fix/mod" to stop sms conversion to mms.. currently if I write text message which exceeds 3pages it auto converts to mms (for which i get mms charge)

It shouldn't do that. I wrote an 8 page SMS and it was sent as an SMS.

I'm using stock SMS app.. If you can write long sms without it being converted to mms.. then it may be phone carrier company dirty trick..

I will be updating my gf's phone to this rom but has some questions about it. The rom is just 12+.++ mb? Is is this just an update of an earlier version? If it is, should i start from v1 through v5.5? I lost my sgs 2 yrs ago and lost track of this thread. Thanks for the help!

You can use any version..if you really older posts you will see v3 was very good for older release..
Otherwise you can go straight into v5.5 with no problem at all..

btw my personal opinion only > to get the very cleanest flash
factory data rest, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, format cache, format system, format data..
(always do nandroid backup first)

Ooh yeah enjoy this unbelievable fast stable custom ics rom
