For some reason it is not working..it is only taking me back to the stock ics boot animation...I have done this plenty of times...so I know I'm not doing anything wrong....so I deleted old bootanimation.zip and replaced it with the bootanimation720x12800.zip and renamed it to bootanimation.zip...and still not showing it..it just shows my old animation? Amy suggestio ns? Or am I supposed to leave it as original name

Sure, I don't think it should be too bad...

That is very strange, that should work. It should be "bootanimation.zip", in /system/media.. I've never seen it show the old animation. If you unzip, does it have the right images? The only encounter I had was once it said "android" instead of showing any animation, but that was when I first started, every subsequent test has been successful.

Yeah I checked out the images and they are correct......I'm not sure what the problem can be?

Are you on MIUI or something other than CM? BTW Kindle Fire sizes posted at 30 and 60fps.
