You can use a root explorer to edit /system/build.prop ro.sf.lcd_density property. I set it to 240 and it's working on midnote. If you edit the midnote build.prop, you'll find this property repeated, you should remove the second one and leave the first one.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to backup using titanium and CWM/Red-pill before you edit build.prop as your device might hang during boot as I explained and you'd have to boot to recovery and restore backup.

Woooh...seems a bit complicated...i will leave it as that for the meantime...thanks though...

It's not ROM related. I usually get 27+ hours with moderate use. Use BetterBatteryStats to check what's consuming your battery

I'm uploading a new 2.1 version, with this changelog :
1 Kernel stock ZLP1 (without CFroot)
2 Settings and video player from LP1 euro

- All updates of 2.0 built-in

This is why :

1 I would verify if rooting it with new method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1542828), may help us to finally fix various root related problems and some others bugs
2 I would verify if we can fix two of "major" bugs, wifi location and video player

STAY TUNED..

This will loose cwm recovery? If you use stock kernel.

I know for recovery we have to repeat point tree. But is there no other way to go to recovery?

Thanks for this awesome ROM! It's my stand-by...it's the least convoluted of the all the ICS ROMS, and it actually works.

FROM THE MODERATOR....... This Method Has known to Hard Brick your device. Please use more Tried and true methods as this Method is Unreliable.... Oka1 (moderator)

Make a nandroid and install it with the same procedure of 2.0 (WITH REDPILL RECOVERY OF 3.9 ABYSS KERNEL), and do a FULL WIPE.
After first reboot, finish setupwizard, then follow carefully this procedure to obtain root :

I need YOUR feedback.....
