Unhappy [Q] GS2 Display problem

Hello all...
I would need assistance to understand if this problem can be solved or not ...
These are photos of my display ... I think I see a reduction or a reduction of the definition of color ... in other images with bright or light colors are not known, but here it just seems so ...
I do not know if this can be connected to the problem but I tell you ... I recently installed Chainfire 3d ... ok, but after a few days I see these images:
1 (background), 2 (background) ... you see a lot lines that separate the colors and lots of green in the background that really should not be there ... then uninstall the driver Chainfire Chainfire 3d and 3d to solve ... but do not solve ...
Another thing I notice is that, between minimum and maximum brightness, the color of the menu below changes: 3 (min) - 4 (max) ...
initially was not so ...
Tips on how to solve??
Thanks to everyone ...

Hi,

I never tried Chainfire 3D but I when I see in the market descrption:

"Chainfire3D is an intermediary OpenGL driver. What does that mean? It means that Chainfire3D sits between your apps and the graphics drivers, and can intercept and/or change commands between the two."

I think the issue might come from here... maybe a wrong paramter in the app and removing it did not revert the setting to original one. If I were you I would do a apps and data backup then wipe and reinstall a stock ROM to check if the problem is still here.

Maybe someone who experienced the same situation will have a better advise which prevent you from doing a wipe.

Cheers.

Default Galaxy Note ROM on Galaxy S II

I can add, that it is not related to Chainfire3D only - I have the same problem, but my story is different.

In short: flashed a Galaxy Note ROM on GS2 and got the same effect.

The full story:
After getting the RevoROM with it's awesome KitchenPro app I went mod crazy and, of course, screwed up. I wasn't able to fix it the easy way so I decided to reinstall RevoROM. As I didn't have it on my PC anymore I redownloaded, but here is where the fun began - by accident I downloaded and in my stupidity flashed a Galaxy Note ROM. The screen went white, flickered, had white and black spots etcetera. After a while of tinkering and a stressful morning my Galaxy is bootable again, but it looks the same as elcabron's.
What I tried: wipe, flashing a stock ROM, flashing custom ROMs (RevoROM,
CyanogenMod, Revolution ICS), banging my head against the wall.

Btw.This forums is awesome - gonna go and click a hundred of thanks when free from school and if I'll manage to fix this a million more

Edit:
I found out that the Galaxy Note has a lower color density than the GS2 and Chainfire's night mode sets the color density lower artificially to save battery life so in both cases it could be a leftover bad display driver. Or couldn't it? Are display drivers reinstalled with ROMs or kernels? If not or even if yes, just for the sake of trying, is there a way to obtain and restore just the original display driver? I tried to do a restore via CWM recovery, but that didn't help.

I'm sorry, but I don't have a camera other than the phone itself. I'll try to get my hands on one, but it might take a while. It looks exactly the same as yours.

Is your warranty still available mate? If its not, then maybe have a phone store near you check out the device and maybe fix it for you.
Motorola XOOM running EOS Stable Jelly Bean with stock EOS kernel.
Samsung Galaxy S II running on NeatRom XXMS1 4.4 with PhilZ v4.53 kernel.

Talking Solution

I managed to find another solution to warranty, as mine is void.
Until now I had tried only flashing with CWM, but now I tried ODIN and it saved me. I was so frustrated, that I checked re-partitioning so that might have helped.
I flashed the ROM from this guide [GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked GSII and followed his steps on how to save a soft-bricked phone.

Btw.Keep in mind, that re-partitioning IS dangerous and don't use it, if you have warranty.

With .pit and without the bootloader. Just make sure, you follow the guide correctly and with the greatest caution. And if you still have a warranty, use it because it would be dumb to brick a phone if it could have been simply repaired.
