Original Theme for Supercharged Atrix V5 Update 2

lfaber06 did a great job creating Supercharged Atrix V5 Update 2
you can DL and install here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1441397

However I felt some of the default icons for drop downs were too large and some background were too dark. I've taken the framework-res.apk and torn it apart and copied over most of the original graphics. I say most because I left in the new lock screen, busy indicator, battery/signal meters.

known issue: none

installation instructions: replace framework-res.apk in V_5_Update_2.zip with the attached file. Use bootstrap to install update.


this is one of my first pots here so I can't post in the thread for the rom..

UPDATE: 3/6/12 - fixed pop up screen, new file attached

known issue: pop-up for reboot/power-off/silent mode does not come up, system only reboots if you hold down the button.. (any ideas on this? stumped how this can be as i only changed graphic files and didn't adjust anything else)

this is one of my first pots here so I can't post in the thread for the rom..

to install - put update.zip on root of sd card. boot into bootstrap recover and apply the update.

Later today I'll see if I can find an issue with the reboot while holding the power button. I had the same problem when I was modding android.policy.jar (what opens the pop-up when you hold the power button) to add the reboot option.

There have been a few ask for a stock themed V5 and I have it in the works just need a couple more days to get it tweaked and completed. It will have all the latest features with a stock theme.

If all it does is reboot when you push the power button something in android.policy got messed up.

Ok there really isn't much to show here, as its the stock graphics for nearly everything. Only the battery meter and signal levels have changed up top to the new look. The spinning hourglass has been changed as well..

Here is my home screen and then a before and after.. the before is very dark and hard to read...

Sounds like JRW28 is waaay ahead of me and better versed in this.. looking forward to see what he has..

I IM'd lfaber06 and he had me make sure i took the framework-res.apk from update 2.. well looks like I didn't.. so the power off options are now working..
