Question [Q] Does this phone support HSPA+ on 1900Mhz??

Well after moths investigating on internet and different carriers in my country I can solve this, the thing is here we have HSPA+ "4G" i'm with Digicel right now but the thing is I still getting 3G, moreover settings>about>status>mobile net type says HSDPA and I've confirmed they use 1900Mhz for 4G

Customer service as always don't even know what all of this things are so this is my last resort to solve this mystery. Is the carrier or the phone??????

thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply but the post don't really help me because Digicel only use 1900 as I said I got 3G but not HSPA+. When I enable/disable wcdma 1900 is it turns to 3G/edge instead of "4G"

When choosing a phone, what frequencies will work on this network?

· Our 4G network will work well with any 3G+ handset which supports 2100 MHz.

This is off of one of Digicel's websites.

Sorry for don't mentioned this before but I'm with Digicel Panamá, here the only available bands are 850 and 1900 and they only use 1900. However I tested with 2100 only enabled and doesn't work.

This phone can use 1900mhz too, for some reason I only get 3.5G instead 4G or H+ symbol...

I am with Cincinnati Bell and have never been able to get my phone on 4g (except when I was in Chicago). I have spent hours on the phone with customer service, reading forums, posting questions and I still to this day only get 3g. There is something odd about this phone using another (smaller) carriers 4g (hspa+).

However, I know that there are a lot of people that use Simple Mobile with our phone and 4g is no problem... so idk

Well I give up there is nothing left to try and we'll never know the cause of the problem
