When you configure the wifi connection very first time, it will work fine.

Once you turn wifi off and on again, it will not connect to the remembered network again...... I had this similar problem on Achotjan rom also.

I dont know what the problem is, but i have figured out, how to get connected to wifi.

Temperory solution.

1. When you want to connect to a remembered network, before turning on wifi on your phone, turn off your wifi router.

2. Turn on wifi on your phone. It will show remembered network name & under it "not in range"

3. now turn on your wifi router, it will connect immediately.


OR

1. When you want to connect to a remembered network, before turning on the wifi on your phone, go outside your wifi network range. so your phone will not be able to detect wifi network.

2. Turn on wifi on your phone. It will show remembered network name & under it "not in range"

3. now just walk in the wifi network area, it will get connected immediately.

OR

Once you have remembered network and if its not connecting.....

1. Select forget network

2. Turn off wifi

3. Turn on wifi

4. Select available wifi network

5. Enter passkey if any...

6. and you are connected..... but you need to do that everytime you need to connect.

weird, i tried similar steps and still had Obtaining IP Address last night, i thought it was my router haha

May work for some people but i recommend champs modified kernel and wifi's as the Sony Logo is Great

Is it only here or there are some apks that simply doesn't install...?

2.) Use Sony Ericsson update tool >>HERE<< to restock your phone to a clean 2.3.3

3.) Flash champs kernel >>HERE<< using latest flashtool >>HERE<< AFTER FLASH UNPLUG DEVICE, DO NOT ROOT WITH FLASHTOOL
(WIFI MODULES FOR CHAMPS KERNEL ARE >>HERE<<)

4.) After that boot straight to recovery and flash >> Champ-Tof37-V8-GB-base.zip << ITS PREROOTED

If the phone Boots fine Continue from step 2 in tof's post >>Here<< or read below also

Thanks for the suggestion but swyping is also troublesome for me since I type really quickly and have been practiced to type fast on gb 2.3 keyboard

hello friends!, I could not install the rom for unlocked bootloader, because it stock in boot animation "Xperia", I've tried wipeing factory reset,cache partition, davilk-cache and nothing happens. How I can solve this problem? Thanks!!
