Default AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note MAJOR ISSUE with Stylus!

Okay basically of all the Notes I've used (5 of them!) they all have this issue where towards the bottom of the screen where the "." and "Space" key are on the Samsung Keyboard, if the stylus or phone is being held in a certain way it will think it's being pressed down when it's not actually, but it only happens in that one spot! I took my AT&T Galaxy Note back to the AT&T store today and both display models had this issue, the replacement phone they gave me had this issue, and one of the Employee's had a Note that also had this issue, all in the EXACT same spot! I just want to make everyone aware of this and to see if this is an issue with all AT&T Samsung Galaxy Notes, and if it is make Samsung and AT&T aware of it and get them to issue a software or hardware fix.
Thanks.

Video demonstrating the issue:

(Interesting enough all of my Wacom Tablet PC pens do not display this problem with the Note)

Update: When you test to see if your Note does this, make sure it's leaning in towards you a bit

I fail to see how this is a MAJOR issue? What problem would this cause?

What program do you have open that you are drawing on?

Because you can be sitting there using hand writing recognition or typing with the keyboard and it suddenly randomly starts hitting a bunch of keys, or drawing something and it just randomly starts scribbling. It's annoying as hell! also the fact it affects EVERY note I've touched.

Glad I'm not the only one with this problem. Mine is affected at the lower right side of the screen. I hate it when it's pushing buttons.

I had hoped that replacing the stylus would resolve the issue but I'm having doubts after OP's post.

I would consider this a major issue.

I believe what Wolfox360 commented on my video is true, I think it's magnetic interference from either one of the radios or the speaker causing this, that's why my Wacom Tablet PC pens didn't do this, they're shielded better, I say this needs a hardware fix from Samsung for new Styluses that are shielded better.

Yes, I agree this is a valid issue. There's at least two other threads in this section on this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1512578 &
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1511230.
At post 14 of the first link I provided a pic of a test memo where I mapped the area of the screen affected.

My first Note's defect was not limited to just the lower right corner... it was pretty wideapread. My second Note's defect was limited to the lower right corner but it didn't require the S Pen to be tilted horizontally or upside down to draw on the screen or start going crazy on the keyboard. My third Note only has the issue in the same location (lower right corner) and only when the S Pen is horizontal or tilted back slightly (like using it while laying in bed or in a reclining chair). I've concluded the S Pen is definitely involved (it doesn't happen with my two Wacom tablet PC pens), and the fact that it is often restricted to the lower right corner must mean the digitizer might also be a factor. Something in the pen is causing an increased transmission when it goes horizontal or becomes inverted.

As the third device is at least usable I've decided to keep it and hope Samsung comes out with an improved S Pen or some other fix for the device. In the meantime, I just try to keep the S Pen upright when I'm using it. I guess I probably use the S Pen more than most folks because I'm a long time user of Pocket PCs and Tablet PCs.

The Note is in all other respects my dream device. I'm a fan!

I don't have this issue, whatsoever. Mine works fine. In fact, but my AT&T version and my International version work perfectly. I can drag the tip across the screen, just barely touching, and it won't register anywhere. Then I increase the pressure just a tiny bit and it does register. Operation is uniform across the entire screen.
