What does this mean for you the user?

A) Team Glitch maintained ROMs will now come packaged with the Glitch Kernel and its scripts and modules. You can expect very soon they will all come with the Glitch Recovery as well.

2) We've implemented a Big Memory tweak that takes back some of the RAM that Samsung stole from us and left useless in the kernel. This ROM/Kernel combo now gives you an additional 47MB of RAM for the ROM to use.

C) Unfortunately unless THS follows suit the Glitch Kernel may not be compatible with THS ROMs anymore. Good news is it will still be in AOKP, Gummy, and my CM9 kangs for you CM9 lovers.

Lastly) Until the android issues are fully worked out I highly recommend switching to TiBu for your backup needs for the time being.

The new builds are labeled BigMemTest. from here on out they will be labeled as per normal. Check OP for links.

Major props go to Team Glitch members TKGlitch, Sixstringsg, and Efpopsis for being awesome. Enjoy.
Ooh snap! this is awesome. but now I'm torn with a choice i have to make.. I was going to move to bboys aokp throm for the awesomeness of all the black apps. I love black themes, and no one has done a good one since thatdudebutch left the fascinate. I'm assuming that future glitch kernels wont work with his distro either unless he gets together with you guys right? If he does follow your lead will his distro have the extra ram? Just curious how all this is going to work going forward.
anyway, for now I'm canning the themed rom plans and flashing this bad boy! You guys all rock!

Right now, none of us have a real answer for that. We might make two Glitch versions, we might not. We don't know what upstream AOKP or THS will do, so we can't really answer. If he does follow our lead, then his distro will have the increased RAM, yes.

So...If I am understanding this correctly, AOKP is now being built with the Glitch Kernel integrated?

So I shouldn't flash the any other Glitch Kernel (b6 beta) which is what i have been using so far?

You will be downgrading by flashing B6. And it will actually break a couple things.

Has anyone else has hot reboot issues on aokp roms? I tried ms4 on two different fassys and both had the issue. One is now on 7.1 and no longer has hot reboot issues.

Default Build 29 BigMem Test

I flashed the AOKP bigMemTest build of 29(over regular build 29)...went from 332mb total memory, to 382mb. Which now leaves me with 177mb free at the moment(and I have a bunch of stuff running)...now I don't have to be so crazy picky and kill stuff all the time, as before, I seemed to always get very low on free memory.

AWESOMEness!!!,,,,no issues so far. Phone feels a bit zippier...

Another topic...

I am not sure if this is a "known issue", but I have been meaning to mention...the LED won't turn on when recording video...I can sometimes get the Flash to work in camera mode, but the LED never will turn on in video mode...

Does this means we also are supposed to use glitch recovery? I noticed there are no longer glitch options to wipe NStools and whatnot integrated in.

Could just be me though.
