I've tried 00001,00002,00014, 00015, 00019. And yes I do have Roam Control. 1x all the time in Los Angeles, however, in Lake Tahoe I was getting 3g on roaming awhile ago.

Maybe its certain regions then you think? I don't necessarily roam while I travel outside the Tampa area.

Is our phone network vision ready? And I don't wanna roam all day on Verizon so I should use the corporate PRL and force roam with Roam Control?

yes.
my area for sprint is only 1x.
i used to use 0001.prl to roam all the time. average speeds were 1.8 to 2.2 mbs
i got a termination letter from sprint so i since changed to the 1115.prl and use it with roam control

Same for me, NYC area, prl 11121 or 12121.. no 3G, only 1x (GB ROM and 1x/3G mod). Using Roam Control.

I have not tried outside NYC yet.

I think i remember reading a while back that in some states verizon only roams on the 800mhz band as samsung phones can't roam on that band. I'm probably absolutely wrong with the details. But I do know that I use the 11121 prl and can roam on verizon 3g in North Carolina. I'll try to search around and find the post with the info about roaming in different states.

After trying two PRLs, my phone will not mount USB storage anymore. This is ****ing wonderful.

I literally just figured that out and came on to delete my post. Lol. This should definitely be addressed in the OP.

on CM9 i force roam with roam control and it has a R by the bars. however the icon is white and it does not establish a data connection. anyone else?
