backlight

About hardware buttons backlight. Is it possible that kernel has sth to do with that? Becouse on AOKP rom with sirkay's kernel editing hw_config doesn't work but AOKP with cm9 kernel has backlight off.

You can edit the framework-res.apk to make backlight off.

It should be baseband first before rom.. Hehe.. I accidentally flash gb rom on top of baseband .70 and ics kernel, and it booted up completely... But i didnt play with it because i need a stable phone that time, and i didnt try to do it again.

That's cool. I'm on ics now rooted. Dunno whether to unlock bootloader. Really want to have a fast and smooth rom with no lags

Yes i want that, please make the backlight of buttons off, as everyone uses the onscreen buttons/navigation bar
