Default Gallery is using way too much data

I have my account sync off even photo sync is off but my gallery is still using all lot of data
What can I do?

Are you sure Google+ and Picasa Auto photo sync is off?!

Google+ is from within the Google+ app, Picasa should be in Accounts and Sync.

K I signed in g plus and did do not sync though I'm sure I had it off before too

And accounts and sync, picasa does not show up.
All I see is my Gmail, twitter, and whatsapp

Well you can always go in to Data Usage, click on gallery, and restrict background data

If you're not going to use the sync feature and stock gallery is giving you problems, might as well try alternative like Quickpic which is really good...lightweight, fast, always update with thumbs, no sync, freq updates,

Yeah you have to click thru into each account. Account&sync>gmail>picasa.

Thats crazy high usage for gallery. You take pics often i assume?
