with LG releasing its midrange model named L5 at MWC 2012,Barcelona..we salsa users can expect ics rom do be develoed sooner or later (nothing less than 6-8 mnths though).the reason behind this being the specs of the phone...

no offense thats pushing it! we have 2.....2 current working roms!, no cm7 port or official......ive been working on this handset since oct 2011....rooted 3 weeks after i got it.
i dont expect anything that fast.....and never will.
seriously.....be patient with roms....if it take 6-8months to get cm7 or cm9....then fine.....i do know this handset wont have ics on it offically from htc.
it will get what we.....the devs, make for you...the user

and dont forget....LG Optimus L5... isn't a HTC so its a way bit different

Even galaxy ace is very close to salsa.the only problem to make the Rom might be the kernel for this phone(or) u can get the stock system files of ace and remove the kernel and replace with the stock kernel of salsa
