my friend set CPU need customizable Karnel and till now there is no absolutely stable custom Karnel available for galaxy y. so not possible just wait and watch some dev. to make custom kernel than it WILL work.

Galaxy Y Gaming Club has one, you can search it in his blog. Although he says it only works on stock rom.

Yep that's right used to work for me on stock rom but not on any custom roms
