Default [q] root rezound from linux? (RESOLVED)
Howdy folks!

Quick introductions.. The droid x2 was my first smart phone. I quickly got up to speed dev'in for it and was part of the team to bring the 2nd-init hack / cm7 to that device. Well my x2 hit the river by accident and now i have a rezound.

I have no windows boxes so am doing everything in linux. Im looking for a linux root method for the rezound.. the only thing im seeing is the 1-click. Did a few forum searches..

Can someone point me in the right direction? Am i gonna have to install windows to root this piece?

if you have accepted the OTA then you cant get root without using the HTC DEV lock... and i think you may need to use windows...

I did unlock the bl allready.. and i took the ota.. i had read a thread about rooting with amon-ra .. any more help would be appreciated...

then u need to flash amon-ra and then while in amon-ra go to the dev menu and hit install superuser
