Defy working with Defy+ Battery?

Hi

I have purchased a Defy+ battery for my Defy lately, unfortunately it did not work properly as my phone cannot correctly show the remaining battery.

I have been sweeping a couple of threads, looking for a solution. Among these threads, walter79's patch nearly works. After using the patch, my Defy can correctly show the battery level, just after rebooting. However, the battery level did not change afterwards. Is there any solution to that??

My green lens defy is currently running CM9.Thanks anyway.

try doing a battery calibration ---> wipe battery stats in clockwork mod.
also try using a gingerbread rom

actually i want to use that with my Defy phone if that helps to increase the usage time...hope that works!
