I wouldn't say everyone, and one can still find exploits if one is unlocked since one still has access to the code and OS updates.

I am not unlocked, since I am still waiting to RMA mine for a screen defect and though that should not be affected by unlocking (since it is a hardware defect) I don't plan on taking that chance, and I am currently looking for a new exploit (I released the first root method for the TP201 on ICS). But, I am not finding too much time to work on it around spending time with my family.

C'mon Sparky - we need a .21 root and yours is my only option since my drivers won't work.

Spend time with your family mate. Thanks for all your work.

We appreciate the effort mate. There are quite a few people keen to see this, but family comes first.

Is there anything we could be doing to help? I'm an Android developer, but I have no idea how you guys go about the task of looking for exploits to gain root!

Unlock bootloader using official unlock tool from Asus. Then use adp to push clockmode recovery. After that you can install rooted ROM. This is only way to do it right now for .21

That is only way right now, and it could be for a while.
