You can. Any ICS kernel will work for any ICS ROM. Happy flashing.

Ok great. I just updated kernal and modem and everything is running fine, only thing I noticed is that my rogue covery cwm was changed to android recovery blue themed. Is this going to be a problem or will it go back with the calk's next rom update

In the OP of that thread, sfhub states that it does not have cwm. Only unlocked stock recovery. You can flash back to the kernel that came with the ROM if you want. You just need to use Odin.
