so if I unlcoked my phone then i will never see the ICS unless i donwloaded from XDA and flash by flashtool

Is it likely that we might experience that amount of problem like upgrade in ARC case?
cause that keeps me away from unlocking even if I got sim free phone
prediction ?

There shouldn't be any problems. Most issues on the Arc seem to be caused by people doing it wrong...

u can always relock bootloader and then perform the upgrade....


ICS isnt even officially out for ARC... the ARC S has ICS but not the ARC... ARC users are flashing it using a HACK and thats why running into issues

unlocked great

i flashed custom rom but one problem..

adb devices

give me no devices..


driver installed: Sony Ericsson sa0103 ADB Interface Driver
and on phone debug usb is flagged..

suggest?


win8 x64
(p990 sgs2 n1 works perfectly)

Hi should I use the files in driver.zip or the files from fastboot_with_Android_USB_file.zip? If from fastboot_with_Android_USB_file.zip, use the drivers from usb_driver right?

Default Xperia s - big problem
hi guys, i think i have gone an messed up my phone really bad. and i don't know if this is the right forum but still here goes.

currently my phone doesn't start and when i tried to use seus to reinstall firmware it says i am already on the latest firmware and when i try and repair there is no software available for your phone. Try again later.

now how i got into this mess.

phone was fine until yesterday. rooted properly doom recovery +kernal v2 working perfectly. Then i flashed toggle switches which took away my 3g. tried every thing even had resetting 3g wouldn't start. so i tried to replace system ui (instead of the new UI for toggle switches) with the orignal one. Didnt work.

then did a hard reset. phone started but got stuck saying start startup system file missing blah blah force shut.

then tried flashing using generic SG stock rom with flashtools. got an error says usb needs to be debugged. (i couldn't get the phone to start hence, couldn't get to the USB debugging mode to switch it ion)

lastly i though ill use the seus to repair or overwrite my firmware and now here is where i stand i cant repair it as stated above. i can "afford" to keep this phone dead, i need a way to repair it.

need help

flash the "relock bootloader" package posted in this thread and the reflash stock .6x firmware... and see if device boots... if it doesnt then try repairing via SEUS/PCC

also i have relocked my bootloader. now the phone doesn't start all i can reach is the flash boot and fastboot mode.
