[MOD][CM9][AOSP] Soft Keys MOD (New Transparent Version)

Hello guys

First things first, Credits go to:

-nickshertzer for his amazing original battery and center clock MOD and flashable zip found here

-fergie716 and his guide on how to change battery icons and enable lockscreen rotation

-evilisto and his easy guide on how to enable softkeys in ICS

-pendo and his amazing post on making transparent status bar and softkeys..

Now to the mods

the first zip is for CM9, it has the battery icons and charging animation, center clock, semi-transparent status bar and rotational lockscreen
I decreased the hight of the softkeys and made it disappear on landscape so that now I can enjoy full screen while surfing the internet, playing games or watching movies
I also tried to make the softkeys transparent but didn't work out quite well as only half of it transparent (launchers problem as nova launcher beta12 exactly shows it correctly)

the second zip I didn't try to be honest, just took the framework from imilka's amazing AOSP ROM and enabled softkeys, made them smaller and disabled the landscape keys, nothing more..I hope someone can try and report, would be very helpful..but there should be no problems..

imilka has a zip to enable and disable softkeys in his OP...

turn on capacitive on-screen buttons (optional) - http://dev.imilka.eu/android/softbuttons.zip

its under v02 but every mod for aosp works for all 3 versions.

Thanks, but I was just testing his version since he wanted to see if it ran correctly and if it had any problems.

I am aware of that zip mate, thanks

But this zip has smaller soft keys, and no landscape keys at all

Did you try putting this on your i9220? Because that might have something to do with why it didn't work. These ROMS are designed for the GT-N7000

So I finally had time to flash imilka's amazing AOSP ROM after I gave up on CM9 (with no development in the horizon )

And now I made a new MOD for it gathering info from the previous links plus a thread I found at rootzwiki here..

What's in this MOD:

- Battery MOD with charging animation, same as from nick's thread (thanks alot mate )
- Transparent status bar
- Transparent soft keys disabled in landscape mode and made smaller in portrait mode

But there is a catch for the transparent softkeys, you have to have the modded Nova Launcher B12 (provided in the zip) installed and running, with other launchers it will be half-transparent half-black..remember to un-install previous Nova versions if you have it from /system/app and also from /data/app

So after more than 200 downloads with no thanks or at least feedback at all I decided to delete my mods and keep them for myself..no need to share my work if I don't even get a simple reply

I would like to try the transparent navbar if you reupload it. Will it work on ICS Stunner or just imilka's rom ?
