Just installed, first impressions are pretty good. I'll do a bit more playing and report back later.

Seems nice and smooth though.

Any screen shots? Or is it a more or less stock look?

Why mount all partitions as read/write?

I dont see the gain, but i see a major security hazard.

If you pick one of those more and more present trojan, it will have full access to he system files without needing to obtain su rights.

That's why normally you don't run a computer from an admin account, but from a user one with limited admin rights.
SGS3 I9300 - Various kernels - null_ ROM/Jelly Bam - Philz Recovery

If it was a windows then I would agree. But since its linux, I have never heard of a virus before. If you have plz provide a link to a ref. Would love to read up on it.

If anyone else thinks the same then I will switch it to read-only.

One among many others... Malicious code exploded in 2011.

http://m.gizmodo.com/5881778/googles...ndroid-malware

Android is a major growing target for malwares/viruses as it's first phone OS in the world. And above all, Android apps are in Java, a very common way to spread malicious code (that's why Apple decided to not use it, and Flash also ....).

If Linux in itself wasn't till now a viral target it's just because its confidentiality.. Pirates are searching massive spreading....

I don't see the gain of it. You can enable r/w in your favourite file explorer and eventually the only need for easy root access would be for adb, and even this is a subject if discussion.
