What happens if I freeze this app? Its always running in the background. I froze it for a day and it seemed like my data speeds went to hell. I was at a restaurant and I couldn't pull any data at all I don't know if it was the frozen app or just ****ty signal.

the dialer codes get temporarily disabled.
example: *#*#3282#*#* (*#*#DATA #*#*)

Is that it? I noticed it too. So I must have been in a crappy area. I thought its purpose was to switch to the best available tower or something. I might disable it again to try and save some battery
