Quarx CM9 20120303 Works Great
After using Quarx's latest form this morning (11:30am cst), I can say it runs pretty well. Haven't had any fc's or unexpected bad things happen yet. Can't get usb tethering working, but bluetooth tethering works (I'm using it now). The bluetooth tethering didn't connect to my box right away, but it was either an issue with wicd on my network config, NOT CM9. If anyone is interested, on debian sid anyways, run as root -- dhclient bnep0 -- and it will connect.
Install the same way BravoMotorola posted in his thread over at bravo dev. If you don't want to setup the apn each time, before flashing, change line 561 in apns-conf.xml to -- <apn carrier="ATT" mcc="310" mnc="410" apn="wap.cingular" proxy="wireless.cingular.com" port="80" user="WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM" password="CINGULAR1" mmsc="http://mmsc.cingular.com" mmsproxy="wireless.cingular.com" mmsport="80" type="default, supl, mms" />-- except for the -- before and after......or replace it with the apns-conf.xml from the white rabbit patch here before flashing.
It was line 561 in gedit with no word wrap. Just search for att in apns-conf.xml and it's the 2nd and there's only 2 with att -- "ATT" and "Cingular 380 ATT". ATT is the one you want to change.
I haven't seen any usb tethering issues in the defy forums for the newer cm9s, so I'm wondering if it's just my bad luck or the bravo's.
