Default [Q] SIM Card problem on 7300

Hello
A few days ago I bought Galaxy Tab 8.9. The tablet works great except one problem. The device does not see my SIM card. No matter if my SIM is in or out when I try to enter Settings --> Mobile Network i receive this message: Insert SIM card to access network services
The device was bought from other (not my) provider (I bought it from second hand). Is it possible that the device is locked for other SIM card ? I don't believe it's locked because providers in Israel do not suppose to lock any devices, but any way how can I check this?
And if it is not locked how can i fix this problem?
My device info is:
Model number: GT-P7300
Android version: 3.2
Baseband version: P7300XXKHC
Kernel version: 2.6.36.3 root@DELL133 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Nov 8 09:34:49 KST 2011
Build number: HTJ85B P7300JHKK3
The device is not rooted and i still didn't change the CMR...

Hi everyone

The problem is solved. I don't really know how, but it works now. Maybe I didn't put the SIM card right before.
Thank you all for your tips
