My Zaggy hack for pen comfort.
I recently bought a Flyer principally for the form factor and pen. When it turned up I loved the size and quickly ditched the built in notes app for Lecture Notes. However after 48 hours I noticed that the pen was leaving scratches on the screen. Sad face. So for the first time in about 8 years I decided to get a screen protector. The last one I had was a Zagg and I loved it so I bought another off the shelf. Fitting was simple, finish so nice for writing on.
Was still not happy with the pen. I've had Windows tablets for 7 years so know what pens on screens are like. I knew the Scribe could be better. I love the slightly soft feel of the Zagg, after fitting the screen protector there is a patterned section left over. I cut this to the length of the pen barrel. Removed the pen battery and very carefully applied the solution and screen offcut to the pen. Left it to dry for 24 hours reinserted the battery and now have a comfy pen for gripping on a nice writing surface on my fab Flyer.
Warning: Be careful not to get your pen wet. It may stop working!
Will post piccy later.
