Default [Important] Read before flashing or modifying your device. Avoid bricks.

Lately, I've been getting a lot of PMs requesting for phone brick fixes and they all consist of one thing.
  1. Using ROM Manager to install ClockworkMod.

Do not, under ANY circumstance, use ROM MANAGER to flash a CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY.

If you do not see P920/P925 in the list, don't think that LG Optimus 2x or any other device with "LG" in it is compatible because it is not!

Use this to flash a recovery instead.

Recovery Manager

This is a flashing tool that will let you install:
  • Stock Recovery
  • ClockworkMod Recovery
  • Touch ClockworkMod Recovery

Requirement:
  • You'll need to be rooted.
  • Superuser and SU have to be updated to the latest app and binary
    • Update Superuser in the market
    • Open Superuser app and go to the options
    • Scroll to the bottom and click "Su binary"

DOWNLOAD LINK: Recovery Manager

How To Use:
  • Extract the files with WinRar or 7zip
  • Launch "Recovery Manager.bat"
  • Make sure your phone is in "USB Debugging Mode" and is plugged in
  • Choose your option
  • Wait for the screen to refresh
  • Boot into recovery to verify it was flashed successfully

Thanks.

Thanks! That was really easy!

I had LG Optimus 2x for last month but it was european model and in Canada I couldn't get 3G in WCDMA850 band (in rural areas of Ontario), so I had to sell it... I really liked it so I got used P925. I rooted it with Superoneclick and now I have CWM. Ready to roll!

Thanks again!
