Exclamation 4G coverage area accurate for you?

I recently noticed that my office is in the 4G coverage area,, however I can not get a 4G signal! I am in full coverage (within a few miles) not the extended coverage.

Should I call verizon or is this a known issue?

Both 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 radios are a no go

Buildings (some more then others) are known to interfere with radio signals. This is something your probably just going to have to live with unless your office takes measures to correct the issue.

In my case:
Outside - 5-30Mbps 4G
Inside - Nil-1Mbps 3G

Where you are in the building, how tall the building is, and most often the construction of the building play huge factors in the penetration of cell signals.

Any chance your office is putting out a lot of EMI in the sub 1kHz range...?

Do you see a 4G connection when getting to the office in the morning?

My building will still block the signal when I'm outside if it's sitting between me and the tower. Just saying "outside" doesn't mean you're going to get better signal from a cell tower. Unlike sunlight and GPS signals, it's not shining down on you from above...unless of course...you're standing under the tower itself. Which probably wouldn't work well either since cell antennas are directional.

Former AT&T employee. They suck. You have no idea how much they suck. In fact, I should probably change my s/n, since I haven't even used them in 3 years.

Ah! I did not realize 4G signal is so susceptible to surroundings

All radio signals are susceptible to disruption. The particular frequency LTE is running on is actually less susceptible than other bands. However, there's far fewer LTE towers, so when the one you're using is blocked, you may not have another one to fall back on.

Is this using the 700mhz radios? If so, buildings shouldn't be a problem.
