Can we increase our desire gpu performance with this tweak?

Today i saw on xda portal that the optimus one users have found a way to increase the adreno 200 gpu performances by using this tweak,since the desire and optimus one share the same gpu i am wondering if it can be done for us too.

Normally it should if you run gingerbread.

i run miui,has anyone tried this yet? Does it work?

Looking at those build.prop entries it could just be those that are making the most difference.

I've got some of those entries in my own build.prop file in my ROM (as does MildWild) and someone has commented that the game they play seems faster on my ROM thank before.

This could all be a placebo effect and possibly nothing makes it any better but if you notice a difference yourself then that's all that counts really! (as long as it's a better difference!!)
